Straw-based board is made primarily from crop straw fragments, with the addition of MDI adhesive and functional additives, and manufactured under high temperature and pressure. sturdiness
The durability, load-bearing capacity, and deformation resistance of straw-based boards meet national particleboard standards and are comparable to wood-based engineered wood products. Meeting the European E0 standard, it is currently the most environmentally friendly engineered wood product available.
Moisture resistance
The straw fiber raw material used in the straw-based board has a large amount of natural wax layer on its surface, which plays a similar role to the moisture-proof and waterproof function of the paraffin additive in the moisture-proof board.
Flame retardancy
Straw fiber is rich in silicon dioxide, a natural fire-retardant substance. Its flammability meets the GB8624-B2 standard. Using fire-retardant board products, no fireproofing treatment is required; they can be used directly in various public places. When exposed to fire, they will only char and will not spread the fire.
Sound insulation and sound absorption functions
He Xiang board is a homogeneous porous material with excellent sound absorption properties.
Environmental protection
The raw material for fiberboard and particleboard on the market is wood. The reason why they are classified as E0 or E1 is mainly due to the adhesive. Compared to traditional wood fiberboard, the adhesive in straw-based fiberboard does not contain any formaldehyde and is harmless to the human body. Using the desiccator method, its formaldehyde emission is zero; better than the Japanese F★★★★ standard and the European E0 standard.
