A few days ago, Xiaoye and her colleagues went to the market for research and talked to customers about the various species of King Coconut. One gentleman's question about Malacca was absolutely spot on.
I don't deny that the quality of Malacca plywood is quite good, but with so many brands on the market, both domestic and imported, why should I buy imported Malacca eco-friendly paint-free plywood?
We believe that many consumers have similar questions, so after answering this customer's question, we have compiled this article to help clarify things for everyone.

PK Procurement System
Ordinary domestic Malacca: Most of the ordinary domestic Malacca products circulating in the market are sourced from trading companies. This can result in different product batches, different production dates, and inconsistent quality attributes, making it impossible to guarantee the stability of the supply and the quality of the Malacca raw materials.
Imported Malacca timber: Utilizing a factory direct sourcing system, we have established and maintained a dedicated international procurement base year-round. Through on-site inspections and careful selection, we sign strict and legal order contracts with large local suppliers to procure stable, authentic, and high-quality Malacca logs from Indonesia.

PK Raw Material Quality
Commonly produced Malacca wood: Most of the common domestically produced Malacca wood products are sourced from Fujian, Guangdong, and Hainan provinces in China. Because Malacca wood is a sun-loving species, it thrives in warm, rainy climates and fertile, moist soil. Therefore, it grows more robustly in Indonesia, which is closer to the equator, while domestically produced wood is slightly inferior.
Imported Malacca: Malacca heartwood is imported from the Maluku Islands of Indonesia. It is a first-class imported Malacca, using the best logs from trees at their golden age. It has advantages such as a soft touch, light texture, excellent flexibility, wear resistance and anti-aging, easy processing, and the original wood flavor that prevents insects and borers.

PK drying process
Ordinary domestic Malacca wood: Malacca wood has a high moisture content. In order to meet the requirements, domestic Malacca wood is generally dried naturally, dried artificially in a steam kiln, or dried rapidly at high temperature within 24 hours after the whole block of square timber is sliced. These methods may result in low drying efficiency and uneven moisture content, making the boards prone to problems such as dampness, cracking, and deformation.
Imported Malacca wood: is sourced from overseas bases and uses extra-large standard drying rooms. It employs unique foreign drying technology to dry the Malacca wood at low temperatures for up to 10 days, ensuring that the core of the Malacca wood has low and uniform moisture content and is not prone to cracking and deformation.

PK manufacturing process
Ordinary domestically produced Malacca chips: Most ordinary domestically produced Malacca chips only go through basic production processes, such as drying, machine assembly, edge sawing, hot pressing, cold pressing, puttying, and packaging. They are produced step by step in the process, without any significant progress or improvement.
Imported Malacca: Imported Malacca eco-friendly paint-free boards undergo 24 quality control processes, including a computer-controlled high-precision thickness sander that reduces thickness error to within 0.05mm, resulting in high flatness; 130℃ constant temperature hot pressing to thoroughly remove harmful substances, ensuring a high level of environmental protection; and a single curing process lasting up to 15 days, with multiple curing stages throughout the process, allowing the boards to better adapt to the local environment and achieve superior quality.

PK Quality Inspection Procedure
Ordinary domestically produced Malacca: Generally, it undergoes quality inspection procedures in accordance with national recommended standards, and can be circulated in the market once it passes the inspection.
Imported Malacca products undergo rigorous quality control procedures throughout the entire production process, including origin inspection, customs inspection, factory inspection, production inspection, and final inspection. Strict finished product standards are established to ensure that the quality of the finished product far exceeds the national recommended standards.
▲Imported Malacca eco-friendly paint-free boards undergo multiple quality inspections before leaving the factory.
In summary, imported Malacca eco-friendly paint-free boards have advantages in terms of raw material quality, production process, and quality inspection assurance, making them a quality choice for home decoration boards.
