Oriented strand board (OSB), commonly known as OSB, is a widely used alternative to plywood in Europe and America, and is a mainstream engineered wood product. OSB is mainly used in building structures, especially in wood-frame or steel-wood-frame houses, where it accounts for over 90% of the applications. It is not only suitable for large-scale modern building construction and decoration, but also widely used in private residences and villas.
Compared to traditional plywood and blockboard made with urea-formaldehyde glue, OSB board production uses formaldehyde-free isocyanate glue as an adhesive. Not only is the glue formaldehyde-free, but the continuous ultra-high temperature hot pressing process also releases the trace amounts of formaldehyde contained in the natural wood, making the board formaldehyde-free and ensuring that the board is truly green and healthy. It can be said to have the ultimate pursuit of environmental protection.
Selected A+ raw materials
OSB boards are made from native Canadian aspen wood that has passed FSC, CSA, SFI, and PEFC forest certifications. Canadian aspen grows in harsh environments, grows slowly, and has strong wood that reaches maturity in 30 years. A+ grade mature wood from trees aged 70-120 years with a diameter exceeding 35cm is selected to ensure the superior performance of the OSB substrate.
Two countries and three parties reach a new level of environmental protection
OSB board is a new generation of environmentally friendly engineered wood panel jointly developed by TBB, West Fraser of Canada, and the Alberta Institute for Innovation and Technology (AITF) of Canada. Based on ordinary OSB, it was developed to meet the needs of the Chinese market. This tripartite cooperation between China and Canada represents the highest level of international forestry industry expertise and secures core intellectual property rights.
Formaldehyde-free, environmentally friendly and safer.
In the production process of OSB boards, highly active MDI formaldehyde-free adhesive is used throughout, ensuring absolute environmental protection while possessing extremely high bonding strength, excellent water resistance, moisture resistance, and weather resistance.
Rigorous process, five-in-one
OSB board is made from high-quality Canadian aspen wood, using steam pretreatment technology and West Fraser directional control technology. It is refined through 25 rigorous processes, including steaming, slicing, screening, directional laying, and continuous flat pressing. The board is seamless and uniform, making it environmentally friendly, stable, nail-holding, load-bearing, and moisture-proof.
Ever-changing styles, freely defined
OSB boards possess exceptional stability, remaining undeformed even under prolonged loads or impacts. Their uniform density and thickness endow them with unparalleled plasticity, allowing for arbitrary shaping through hand or machine sawing, fully expressing individuality.
Each OSB board has a unique texture, making it a work of art even without embellishment; it can also be painted or finished according to your needs, allowing you to define the perfect home space.
From international to domestic markets, we have introduced OSB boards, aiming to preserve the product's advantages while further optimizing and improving them to meet domestic needs, thus creating a new lifestyle.
