[Abstract] This invention discloses a green and environmentally friendly method for producing wheat straw board, which is prepared according to the following steps: wheat straw is chopped to 1mm-30mm → surface treatment using a combination of physical and chemical methods → uniform mixing of adhesives → laying → pre-pressing → hot pressing → trimming to length → curing → drying → trimming and surface treatment → product; Surface treatment: 0.01%-0.5% by weight of SiO2 nanomaterials capable of eroding the waxy surface at temperatures above 90℃ are added to the wheat straw raw material; then, 0.01%-0.5% by weight of chemical raw materials containing silicon-oxidized chemical bonds, similar to the waxy structure of the straw surface, are added to increase the affinity between molecules; 10%-30% by weight of inorganic gelling agent is added to the wheat straw; finally, an adhesive capable of forming hydrogen bonds or chemical bonds with polyhydroxyl structures is added, with the adhesive dosage being 0.1%-5%. This invention's product is a low-cost, high-performance alternative to wood-based panels. It is lightweight, environmentally friendly, releases no toxic substances, and is high-strength, flame-retardant, sound-insulating, and moisture-proof.
[Claim 1] A method for producing green and environmentally friendly wheat straw board, characterized by the following steps: wheat straw shredded to 1mm-30mm → surface treatment using a combination of physical and chemical methods → uniform mixing of adhesives → laying → pre-pressing → hot pressing → trimming to length → curing → drying → trimming and surface treatment → product; wherein the moisture content of the raw wheat straw is 10%-15%; the surface treatment involves adding 0.01%-0.5% by weight of SiO2 nanomaterials capable of pitting waxy surfaces at temperatures above 90℃, wherein the SiO2 nanomaterials are one of nano-magnesium oxide microcapsules, nano-calcium oxide microcapsules, nano-sodium oxide microcapsules, nano-potassium oxide microcapsules, or nano-alkaline silicon oxide microcapsules; then, adding 0.01%-0.5% by weight of the wheat straw containing silicon oxide with a waxy structure similar to that of the straw surface. The chemical raw materials containing silicon-oxidized bonds include silicone resin, basic silicon dioxide, silanol ester, polysilanol ester, sodium salt of silanol ester, sodium salt of polysilanol ester, or borax, which increase the affinity between molecules. 10%–30% by weight of wheat straw is added as an inorganic binder, which is one of activated silica, activated alumina, magnesium oxide/magnesium chloride, calcined gypsum, calcium oxide, calcium carbonate, volcanic ash, or cement, mainly to increase internal bonding strength, increase strength, flame retardancy, and water resistance.
