[Abstract] This invention discloses a novel environmentally friendly high-performance engineered wood panel, comprising the following raw materials by weight: 95 parts willow sawdust powder (85#), 22 parts sorghum straw powder (18#), 8 parts barite powder (6#), 8 parts polyester resin (3#), 1.6 parts initiator (a#, 0.9#), 1.5 parts curing agent (0.8#), 1.3 parts waterproofing agent (0.7#), 1.8 parts flame retardant (1#), 2 parts smoke suppressant (1.2#), 0.6 parts accelerator (0.2#), and 24 parts adhesive (12#). The adhesive of this invention exhibits high bonding strength and strong water resistance, fully complying with the relevant standards in GB/T14732#2006#. The engineered wood panel produced far exceeds the national Class II engineered wood panel standard in strength and can be widely used in industrial production lines for engineered wood panels, plywood, and cellulose boards, replacing the use of aldehyde-based adhesives and reducing dependence on fossil resources. The novel environmentally friendly high-performance engineered wood panel of this invention also boasts high mechanical strength and is easy to glue and mold.
