Practical Guide! Whole-House Customization Boards – Multi-Layer Boards

2025-11-04

In the previous two installments, we introduced the differences between four main substrate materials for whole-house customization: particleboard, plywood, multi-layer board, and super core board: Practical Information! Whole-House Customization – Board Materials Section

In this issue, we will introduce TBB plywood. Plywood is favored by the market and customers for its superior load-bearing capacity and nail-holding power.

What other advantages does plywood have that make it one of the top choices for building materials in many households?

Select high-quality base materials

Solid quality

Multi-layer boards use eucalyptus wood as the base material. The logs are cut and rotary-cut or sliced into large thin sheets along the annual rings. The sheets are arranged vertically according to the fiber direction of the veneer, resulting in excellent stability.

Selecting only 65% of the essence from a single tree, and using only the perfectly textured trunk as material, this product boasts sturdy quality and beautiful design. Multi-layer plywood is ideal for creating feature walls and floor-to-ceiling cabinets, resulting in a high-end, integrated design that combines doors, walls, and cabinets.

24 scientific processes

Fine processing

The 9+2 layer solid wood plywood, with the longest service life among multi-layer boards, undergoes 24 meticulous processes including steaming, drying, degreasing, conditioning, and hot pressing, following a symmetrical principle. During the high-temperature hot pressing process, formaldehyde is released from the raw materials beforehand, repelling insects and eliminating their eggs, ensuring that the boards will not rot or attract insects during use, laying a solid foundation for environmental protection.

Standardized production

Stable quality

The internal structure of the board adopts the "four same" principle (even-numbered layers, odd-numbered layers, same moisture content, same orientation, same tree species, same thickness) for standardized production.

Using soybean plant gum, the formaldehyde release is ≤0.05mg/m³, eliminating harmful chemicals such as formaldehyde, benzene, and phenol, and meeting the national E0 environmental protection standard.

Multi-layer boards combine multiple advantages, using high-quality raw materials and imported high-efficiency precision equipment, resulting in high processing precision. This makes them sturdy, durable, stable, moisture-proof, waterproof, and of consistent quality, making them easily adaptable to both northern and southern regions.

Multi-layer boards are high-quality and environmentally friendly, making them the preferred green and eco-friendly board material for your home decoration.
