How much do you know about formaldehyde?

Formaldehyde is classified as a Group 1 carcinogen by the International Agency for Research on Cancer, and long-term inhalation of formaldehyde may lead to cancers such as nasopharyngeal carcinoma. In China, excessive indoor formaldehyde levels are widespread. CCTV News has reported that random air quality checks in newly decorated homes in my country showed that the average formaldehyde exceedance rate was 70% to 80%. This terrifying formaldehyde is lurking all around us-it's chilling to even think about!

Why is everyone so focused on health? Because disease is cruel, and reality is harsh; without health, you have nothing. This pandemic, in particular, has made everyone realize that health is the most valuable asset.

A healthy home environment is inseparable from the environmental friendliness of the base material, mainly the wood-based panels, because they are used in large quantities and are also a major source of formaldehyde pollution from renovations. Choosing environmentally friendly wood-based panels plays a key role in creating a healthy home environment.

Better quality boards mean better health.

What kind of building materials can build a healthy defense for your home?

The answer is that the formaldehyde emission of the building materials chosen for the renovation meets or is even lower than the national standard.

On May 1, 2018, the Chinese national standard GB18580-2017, "Formaldehyde Emission Limits in Interior Decoration and Renovation Materials, Wood-based Panels and Their Products," came into effect. This standard, starting with GB, is a mandatory standard, unlike the recommended standards starting with GB/T. Its most significant change is the elimination of classifications and the provision of a single formaldehyde limit value. The new national standard has only one level: E1. E1 grade boards refer to boards with a formaldehyde content of less than or equal to 0.124 milligrams per cubic meter.

True gold fears no fire, and good boards fear no testing! The latest test report shows that the formaldehyde emission of the environmentally friendly board is 0.021 mg/m³, far below the new national standard of 0.124 mg/m³, ensuring the safety of the environmentally friendly board. Health is the top priority for people, and healthy decoration is the primary prerequisite for interior decoration. Only environmentally friendly boards that have passed authoritative certification are worthy of a healthy home.
