Through experimental research, the effects of the bursting resistance of impregnated film paper, the uniformity of the balance layer interface material, the moisture content of the substrate, and the stability of the substrate structure on the surface crack resistance of the ecological board were analyzed.

Eco-board is the common name for plywood and blockboard with impregnated film paper veneer. It is an emerging type of board material for interior decoration and furniture. After nearly 10 years of development, the quality of eco-board has been steadily improved, and the product range has also been well developed. However, before the implementation of the national standard for eco-board products, some performance indicators lacked a basis for market supervision, especially the surface cracking resistance of eco-board. Eco-board is generally composed of three parts: base material layer, balance layer, and surface decorative paper layer. Surface cracking resistance refers to the ability of the product surface to maintain its surface free of fine cracks under the influence of moisture, heat, etc. It is used to measure the adaptability of eco-board to rapid changes in temperature, humidity, etc. This article analyzes the main factors affecting the surface cracking resistance of eco-board from the material aspect.

1. Influence of the bursting strength of the surface decorative paper

Paper burst resistance refers to the maximum uniformly increased tension that paper or cardboard can withstand per unit area. It is an important indicator to measure the load-bearing capacity of paper.

2. Influence of material uniformity on the balance layer interface

3. Influence of substrate structural stability

4. Influence of substrate moisture content on surface crack resistance

in conclusion

On the premise that the substrate and the balance layer are the same, the burst resistance of the impregnated film paper affects the surface crack resistance of the ecological board to a certain extent. The higher the burst resistance, the higher the crack resistance level.

The material uniformity of the balance layer between the substrate and the impregnated film paper has a great influence on the surface crack resistance of the ecological board. The more uniform the material of the balance layer is, the higher its crack resistance level is, and the more obvious the anisotropy is, the lower its crack resistance level is.

The structure of the substrate affects the surface crack resistance of the ecological board to a certain extent. The more stable the structure of the substrate, the higher the surface crack resistance of the finished product.

The moisture content of the substrate affects the surface crack resistance of the eco-board to a certain extent. The higher the moisture content of the substrate, the worse the surface crack resistance of the eco-board.

Based on the test data, in order to continuously improve the surface crack resistance of ecological boards and eliminate the regional limitations of the product, we can comprehensively evaluate the controllability and cost of influencing factors, effectively control the burst resistance of the surface impregnated film paper, the material uniformity of the balance layer, the structural stability of the base material and the moisture content of the base plate, formulate feasible production processes and standards, and produce high-quality ecological boards.
