Test the toughness of drywall by shaking it up and down; high-toughness drywall is less likely to break. Another simple method is to bend it by hand; poor-quality drywall can even be broken by hand. Toughness directly affects the load-bearing capacity of the drywall.

4. Measure the thickness

The standard thickness of gypsum board is 9.5mm, while some lower-priced gypsum boards are 9mm.

3. The more complete and standardized the product information, including name, trademark, quality grade, manufacturer's name, production date, and markings such as "Keep dry," "Handle with care," and product labeling, the better.

4. When purchasing, pay close attention to the quality grade markings. The quality grade of decorative gypsum board is determined based on dimensional tolerances, flatness, and right-angle deviation.
