Furniture boards are mainly engineered wood products, including particleboard, MDF, finger-jointed board, and plywood. The national standards now have detailed regulations on the specifications and dimensions of furniture boards. The main standard dimensions for various engineered wood products are 1220*2440mm, while thicknesses vary. Below is an introduction to the specifications and dimensions of furniture boards for your reference when purchasing.

Plywood Specifications and Dimensions
Plywood typically measures 1220 x 2440 mm in length and width, with thicknesses generally ranging from 3, 5, 9, 12, 15, to 18 mm. Major wood species used include camphor, willow, poplar, and euonymus. Plywood is a sheet material made by rotary cutting logs into veneers or slicing timber into thin sheets, then gluing them together with adhesives. It usually uses an odd number of veneer layers, with the grain direction of adjacent layers perpendicular to each other, resulting in minimal differences in physical and mechanical properties across the longitudinal and transverse directions. Common types of plywood include three-ply and five-ply. Plywood improves timber utilization and is a major way to conserve wood.

Finger joint board specifications and dimensions
Finger-jointed board, also known as engineered wood, typically measures 1220*2440mm in length and width, with thicknesses of 9, 12, 15, 17, 18, and 25mm. Finger-jointed board is made by splicing together small, deeply processed pieces of solid wood, much like interlocking fingers. The serrated joints between the boards, similar to the interlocking of two fingers, provide inherent bonding strength. Since no additional surface panels are needed, very little glue is required. Commonly used materials include fir, pine, camphor wood, Scots pine, white pine, red pine, elm, hardwoods, maple, and European maple.

Blockboard Specifications and Dimensions
Currently, most of the blockboard popular in the building materials market is solid, glued together, and double-sided frosted five-layer board, with a standard size of 1220*2440mm. Blockboard can be divided into 30, 50, and 90mm boards according to thickness. Generally speaking, the thicker the blockboard, the higher the price. Plywood is made by gluing and pressing two veneers together. Blockboard is more expensive than plywood and has lower bending and compressive strength, but higher lateral bending and compressive strength.

MDF Specifications and Dimensions
MDF, also known as fiberboard, is a type of engineered wood product made from wood fibers or other plant fibers, along with aldehyde resin or other suitable adhesives. It is classified into high-density, medium-density, and low-density fiberboard. The standard size for MDF boards is 1220*2440mm, with a thickness of 2-30mm. Custom sizes are available upon request.
Furniture boards
Particleboard Specifications and Dimensions
Particleboard is a thin board made primarily from wood chips, with added glue and additives, and is divided into two main categories: extruded particleboard and flat-pressed particleboard. Particleboard boards typically measure 1220*2440mm and are generally 25-45mm thick.
