Everyone has a youthful time, but everyone grows old. Time takes away the childishness of young people, and the collagen in their faces slowly diminishes with age, turning fine lines into wrinkles. Before, I could carry two bags of rice by myself; now I can only lift one. Later, I'm afraid to lift rice for fear of hurting my back.
When we are young, we feel that we are invincible and that the stage is as big as our hearts. But as we grow older, the pressure of survival and the helplessness of life make us become the kind of people we dislike the most.
The older I get, the more I realize the importance of "home," because only home and family can accept my flaws. When I want to be alone, I close the door and find some peace and quiet! When I want a comfortable space to relax, I throw my clothes in the closet, pull the covers over my head, and take a nap! With a partner, she loves to dress up, so I prepare a walk-in closet just for her, where she can mix and match however she likes!
Prepare a children's room for your soon-to-be-born baby early on; a separate space is more conducive to a child's healthy growth!
Watching our child grow from their first steps to kindergarten, elementary school, and middle school, we've grown up, and we've grown old. Aside from the fixed cabinets, we've replaced the furniture and soft furnishings several times over the years. Although we're not wealthy, our family is very harmonious, and I think that's the most ordinary kind of warmth.
The Lunar New Year is just around the corner, and winters in the South are truly cold. Stepping into the house and onto the tiled floor, the chill seeps through my shoes, socks, and feet, reaching my brain. It turns out that "cold" can really get to my head.
My child is going to university in the north for the first time, and winter break is approaching; they'll be coming home soon. However, the north has central heating, while the south doesn't. Warming your feet is the first step to staying warm; after more than a decade of cold weather, let's replace the tiles with flooring now so we can have a warm and cozy New Year.
We were all very happy and excited when our child came home. He said that home is the best place, the room that holds his entire childhood, the wardrobe with his clothes for all four seasons, and the floor that is no longer cold.
