In Indonesia, the forest coverage reaches 53%, and the climate is hot all year round with abundant rainfall and relative humidity of over 95%. This makes the trunks of the Nanmu tree thick and straight like cylinders, with solid and tough wood and a natural, comfortable and peaceful fragrance.

Tropical rainforests are hot and humid, making wood prone to cracking and warping if not handled carefully. By establishing an overseas sourcing base in Indonesia, and carefully selecting premium-aged Phoebe zhennan wood, the logs undergo a 10-day drying process before being processed into core panels. This meticulous craftsmanship is evident in every step, ensuring the Phoebe zhennan wood has a uniform moisture content and is less prone to cracking and warping.
