What is an eco-friendly board?
With so many types of eco-friendly boards available in the building materials market, how do you choose?
Some people say that particleboard and MDF are also environmentally friendly. Is that true?
What are the advantages of eco-friendly boards?
How does the finished cabinet look? Are there any renderings I can refer to?

Pay attention!!
Read the following article and you'll know how to choose eco-friendly boards in just 2 minutes!
Look down, below are my heartfelt wishes.
What is an eco-friendly board?
Ecological board (paint-free board) has two concepts: narrow and broad.
1. In a broad sense, ecological board is equivalent to melamine-faced board. Its full name is melamine impregnated paper-faced artificial board. It is made by soaking paper with different colors or textures in ecological board resin adhesive, drying it to a certain degree of curing, laying it on the surface of particleboard, moisture-proof board, medium density fiberboard, plywood, blockboard or other hard fiberboard, and then hot-pressing it into a decorative board.
2. In a narrow sense, eco-friendly boards refer only to melamine-faced panels whose core material is multi-layer solid wood (plywood) or blockboard (such as Malacca wood, cedar, paulownia wood, etc.). They are mainly used in furniture, cabinets, wardrobes, bathroom vanities, and other fields.
PK | How to choose?
Particleboard and MDF are composite boards made by pressing wood chips, sawdust, and various adhesives together. As you can imagine, a lot of glue is needed to form these boards, resulting in poor environmental performance. In addition, sawdust is prone to swelling and deformation when exposed to moisture, has poor nail-holding power, and its physical properties are not advantageous.

What are the advantages of eco-friendly boards?
1
solid wood core
Malacca Core – Selected from imported Indonesian logs sourced from Malacca trees at their prime age, these logs boast a diameter of at least 30cm and a density of up to 350kg/m³, classifying them as a first-class product. The quality of the board surface, material, moisture content, and glue strength are all top-notch. The resulting core retains the superior properties of the original logs, including high flatness, low deformation coefficient, and a high-end, sophisticated feel.
Malacca
Redwood
Redwood core – Redwood core has the advantages of good nail holding power, strong flatness stability, and is not easily deformed. Its wood density is higher than that of Malacca wood, ranging from 430-570 kg/m³.
2
Stringent quality control
Imported Malacca board cores undergo inspections by my country's animal and plant quarantine authorities, customs, and environmental protection authorities upon import, and are classified as Grade A products. Upon entering the factory, they undergo rigorous testing to ensure that the core thickness and moisture content meet requirements. Finished products also undergo factory inspections according to national standards before leaving the factory, comprehensively guaranteeing their high quality.
3
Standard drying, 30-day conditioning
With its overseas raw material sourcing base, the company selects the best materials and structures from Malacca, employs unique cutting methods, extra-large standard drying rooms, and foreign-specific drying processes, and carries out a 10-day low-temperature drying of logs to strictly control the moisture content of the core boards, ensuring that the boards do not deform or crack.
After the boards arrive at the factory, they undergo 36 production processes, including sorting, machine assembly, sanding, cold pressing, and hot pressing. The entire process is monitored and meticulously operated to ensure that the thickness error of the boards is kept within 0.2mm. The finished products are cured for up to 20 days before leaving the factory to ensure that the moisture content of the boards is between 10% and 12%, effectively enhancing the structural stability of the boards.
4
Authoritative certification, E0 grade environmental protection
Made with independently developed formaldehyde-free thermoplastic resin instead of glue, this product boasts strong adhesion and is a standard formaldehyde-free product. It has passed numerous authoritative domestic and international certifications, including Japan's JAS certification and China's Environmental Label Product Certification, giving consumers greater peace of mind when purchasing.
5
Reliable interior natural finish
Focusing on the research and development of decorative finishes, the company innovatively developed high-definition home decorative paper at the end of December 2018. Made from 100% virgin pulp paper, it undergoes multiple printing processes using top-of-the-line equipment, and then passes multiple quality tests, including flatness, color difference, and paper tensile strength. The surface is wear-resistant and scratch-resistant, with a clear and transparent high-definition texture.
Four finishes-a soft-gloss finish, a small relief, a large relief, and a matte finish-enhance the home living experience; eleven trendy patterns and four unique solid colors offer a comprehensive range of options to suit various home styles.
