1. Different logs
Shunxin Board: The logs used are not domestically cultivated fast-growing poplar, but native white aspen from the cold, old-growth forests of Canada. These logs, which must be 80-120 years old naturally, have a fine texture and are 100% natural, organic wood.
OSB (Oriented Pine) Board: Fast-growing thinned European pine
2. Different materials
Straight Core Board: Made from logs sourced from Canada's old-growth forests, sliced into sheets using specialized equipment.
OSB (Oriented Strand Board): Made from waste wood and sawdust after wood processing.
3. Different processes
Straight core board: Uniform density distribution across the cross-section. Four layers, three oriented strands. Made by hot-pressing dozens of long, crisscrossed, oriented wood strips together, resulting in superior load-bearing capacity and stability.
OSB (Oriented Strand Board): It is dense on the outside and loose on the inside, and its density distribution is not uniform.
4. Environmental protection
Shunxin board uses isocyanate adhesive, enjoying luxury treatment and meeting formaldehyde-free standards.
During the production of OSB (Oriented Strand Board), some urea-formaldehyde resin is used on the surface.
Straight core board is derived from OSB and is superior to OSB.
Health and environmental advantages: Addressing the root cause, Shunxin board has only one formaldehyde emission level-formaldehyde-free. Furthermore, the entire manufacturing process and supply chain meet comprehensive environmental protection standards.
Quality advantages: Made in Canada, the entire production process is fully automated and mechanized, ensuring that the quality of each PCB is consistent and there are no individual differences.
Supply advantages: Alberta, Canada, has abundant forest resources, with 38 million hectares of forest land, and more than 80% of it has been certified by third parties. All trees harvested here are approved by the government, so the source of timber resources is legal and the supply is stable.
Application advantages: Stable structure, easy to process, suitable for almost all interior decoration purposes, adaptable to the huge environmental differences between the north and south, and can be used nationwide.
Overall advantages: Shunxin board is currently the only truly formaldehyde-free and environmentally friendly engineered wood product on the market that can be supplied in large quantities.
