During winter vacation, SHU students flock to study hard at home. Those long-unused desks are now increasingly adorned with books and study materials. On a three-foot-square desk, we glimpse a corner of life, enjoying the tranquility and joy of studying alone. So, what's on your desk? Let's explore some of these clever desks!

1. Winter Vacation Desk Arrangement
1.1 ◇ Artistic and Fresh Style
By incorporating personal preferences and memories, the desk arrangement is both practical and aesthetically pleasing. Studying in this artistic little room is truly a unique and relaxing experience. The yellow desk lamp, like a warm guardian, illuminates my path, while the dark green windows exude a nostalgic charm.
As a child, due to financial constraints, my desk was a gift from someone else. As our family's financial situation improved, although the budget didn't include replacing the furniture in my room, my mom cleverly repainted everything in my favorite sky blue. Now, I deeply love this room filled with memories. Childhood hand-painted stickers adorn the windows, and a small plant I recently bought sits in the corner. Together with my paintbrush, it creates a uniquely artistic atmosphere that immerses me in it.
Although the room isn't large, I prefer a minimalist style, so I opted for a combined desk and dressing table. When I study, I combine the desk and dressing table into one, creating a tranquil study space when closed. And when I need to apply makeup or skincare, I simply lift the lid to reveal neatly arranged cosmetics, offering ample storage space. This design is not only practical but also adds a touch of feminine sophistication that is truly admirable.
As I get older, I've begun to experience hair loss, which has made me pay more attention to my health. Therefore, I keep a humidifier and a thermos on my desk. These items are not only practical but also remind me to stay aware of my body's needs and maintain a healthy lifestyle.
Ink and glass pens are placed on the left side of the desk, while study supplies and daily necessities are neatly arranged on the right. Everything appears perfectly organized. I stumbled upon that adorable bunny figurine from a blind box; its vibrant pink color immediately captivated me. And the desk mat I recently bought on Taobao matches my computer desktop perfectly; it's truly a pleasant surprise.
The desk calendar and small storage box I bought on Taobao are incredibly adorable. The bouquet of lisianthus flowers was a gift from my boyfriend. Even though it's been a week and has withered, I still cherish their beauty. And now, what brings me the most satisfaction is the Elvis Presley book placed in the center of the desk. Its beauty is simply captivating. Since getting it, I've actually fallen in love with listening to the radio, enjoying the electric, rhythmic sounds.
I don't have many books, but each one carries a different story. The lamp in my room is an IKEA floor lamp, simple yet stylish. The painting on the wall was given to me by a friend. Although it's a small black-and-white painting, I copied it myself and it's full of meaning.
I don't have a dedicated study or desk, but with some organization, my study corner is perfectly organized. The desk my mother custom-made for her wedding is a bit tarnished with age, but it remains sturdy and durable. Beneath the desk are two cabinets: one for my frequently used books, the other for miscellaneous items.
1.2 ◇ Simple and Practical Arrangement
My writing and study efficiency is improved by a simple arrangement, which makes optimal use of the available space. As soon as I get home, I feel like I'm trapped by a spell of laziness. I often wake up later, become more playful, and my desire to study wanes, resulting in a significant drop in my learning efficiency.
However, whenever I set a clear goal in mind, I feel a strong motivation that inspires me to adjust myself, give my all, and strive towards my goal, determined to become an academic leader.
I fully understand the importance of a tidy desk for efficient study, so I always strive to keep it neatly organized. Besides the essential notebooks, tutorials, and textbooks, I cleverly utilize the adjacent bookshelf to store some extracurricular reading materials, while the rest of my books are neatly arranged in my study.
1.3 ◇ Learning Atmosphere and Self-Discipline
Establishing a personal learning rhythm relies on self-discipline and clear goals. With the start of school quietly approaching, my daily routine is dominated by coursework and tutoring assignments. Compared to the on-campus learning environment, studying at home presents a different challenge.
Here, I must rely on my own self-discipline and time management skills to keep moving forward, and every book on my desk seems to point the way forward. And the tablet, quietly nestled in the corner, seems to whisper, "Don't forget your goals; don't be easily distracted." This unique personal learning atmosphere allows me to find my own rhythm in the application of hard work.
In fact, even when I'm not drawing, I keep my desk quite tidy. Honestly, the key to keeping your desk organized is to promptly clear out unnecessary items and develop the habit of returning used items to their original places.
1.4 ◇ Personalized Desk Layout and Multifunctionality
The design of a desk demonstrates its adaptability to diverse uses. My desk, where I usually work and study, sometimes transforms into a dining table. Here, I enjoy the dual pleasures of reading and dining, achieving a perfect balance between soul and body.
Of course, more often than not, I enjoy dining while watching TV series. This lifestyle allows me to enjoy both delicious food and immerse myself in the world of the drama.
