Things to note before and after custom wardrobes and decoration materials

 When many people are renovating their houses, they have no idea when the construction is progressing or what main materials need to be purchased. As a result, the construction period is delayed and things are rushed out. It is a complete "busy" situation.

Now I will tell you the order in which the main materials should be brought in, so that you will have an idea in mind and won’t be in a rush.

Cabinet customization and installation time:

When starting work, we enter the site to measure and draw up preliminary drawings for water and electricity. At this time, the main thing is to determine the location of the water and electricity.

After the tiles are laid, cabinetry drawings and a contract must be reviewed before construction can begin. The construction period is 25-30 days. If solid wood door panels are selected, the timeframe will be longer. Installation must wait until the ceiling is completed. Remember to bring the range hood, stove, and sink to the installation site.

Cabinets: They can be installed after the ceiling is installed. The kitchen appliances and necessities that need to be present at the same time include: range hood, stove, disinfection cabinet, sink, etc.

Gas stoves, range hoods, sinks, built-in disinfection cabinets, etc. require the opening dimensions to be provided before the cabinets are made.

Positioning and installation time of sanitary ware:

Dimensions are required to determine the size of the installation location before construction begins. Workers will be on site when tiling the squat toilet, bathtub, and shower room.

Bathroom cabinets:

The shower head and wall tiles will be installed after the installation. If you need special materials such as a Washlet or smart toilet, please inform them in advance and reserve sockets. Plumbing toilets and faucets must be brought to the site.

Measurement and installation time for doors and windows:

After the mason enters the site and levels the ground, the door openings and windows are measured.

The production period of kitchen and bathroom doors is 10-15 days (the mason should reserve a space for a brick when laying the tiles, and after the kitchen and bathroom doors are installed, the bricks near the door opening should be laid to close the joint).

The production period of bedroom wooden door is 30-40 days. After the second layer of putty is scraped on the wall, the door set is installed.

The production period for ordinary glass of windows is 5-7 working days, and for tempered glass is 12-15 working days. Tiles can be laid after installation.

Floor tile selection and installation time: Floor tiles can be purchased after you've agreed on a style with the designer. After the mason comes in to level the floor, the tiles are laid, typically using caulking. Floor drains are also necessary. If there's a shower partition or shower enclosure, the shower stone should be brought to site and buried during the tile laying process.

Stone measurement and delivery time:

When the floor tiles are delivered, measure the size of the threshold stone. At the same time, you can also measure the size of the window sill and deliver them together with the threshold stone to save shipping costs. Light-colored stone requires white cement.

Installation time and precautions for kitchen and bathroom ceilings:

After the tiles are laid, the kitchen and bathroom ceilings can be installed. At the same time, the range hood, flue, bathroom heater, lighting, ventilation, etc. can be brought to the site for drilling. Note that when installing the wiring in the early stage, if the bathroom has air heating, 7 wires in 6 groups need to be reserved, and 4 wires in 3 groups for a single air heating.

Measurement and installation of bathroom partitions:

The size of the bricks will be measured after they are laid. The construction period is 15 days, delayed due to high temperature. The bathroom partitions will be installed after the ceiling is installed.

Time to paint the wall:

After scraping the putty, apply primer and topcoat. Generally, one base and two topcoats are used. If the wall needs to be painted, the color should be selected in advance.

wallpaper:

After the putty is scraped, the top primer and topcoat are applied, and the base film is applied on the wall, wallpaper can be pasted after 3-7 days.

It should be noted here that if you want to use wallpaper, you need to choose it 15-25 days in advance. Most wallpapers are shipped back from the factory, so you need to reserve sufficient logistics time.

Liquid wallpaper or diatom mud or shell paint:

Can be putty + primer + flower; can be primer + flower; can also be just flower

Furniture measurement and installation:

After the wall and floor are leveled, the size can be measured and the custom-made period is 25-45 days. It can be made into wardrobes, bookcases, shoe cabinets, TV cabinets, computer desks and beds, etc.

Installation and precautions of the switch:

Install after the wall paint is done. Each switch or socket is individually packaged, so you can install one and open it one by one. If there is an error, it can be returned or exchanged without affecting the second sale.

Installation of lamps:

Install after the top surface paint is completed.

Installation of clothes drying rack:

It is generally recommended to install it before moving in, as the warranty on automatic racks is only one year.

If there is a suspended ceiling, the height should not exceed 30mm.

If you are installing a fixed clothes rod, you must be prepared to go to the site when the ceiling is suspended, and the master will install it together with the ceiling.

Hardware installation:

The pull-out baskets and cabinets should be brought to the site before installation; the lock sets and doors should be brought to the site before installation; the hinges and handles should be brought to the site before installation of furniture.

Installation of electrical appliances:

The kitchen appliances and cabinets will be brought to the site before installation; the air conditioners will be delivered to the site after decoration is completed.

Measurement and installation of invisible screens and protective nets:

The size can be measured after the bricks are laid and before the curtains are installed, and the construction period is 5-7 days.

Activated carbon:

Place in cabinets and wardrobes. It can be reused after being exposed to the sun.
