Formaldehyde-free wood-based panels and their products traceability platform
1. Enterprises and product scope applying for labeling
Man-made board and man-made board product manufacturers that have passed the formaldehyde-free certification of Beijing Green Forest Certification Co., Ltd. can apply for formaldehyde-free labels from the China Forest Products Industry Association.
The formaldehyde-free label can be attached to formaldehyde-free artificial boards and their products such as fiberboard, particleboard, plywood, blockboard, reconstructed decorative materials, veneer laminated wood, integrated wood, veneer artificial boards, wood floors, wood wall panels, and wood doors that have passed formaldehyde-free certification.
2. Product traceability and blockchain technology
A blockchain is a decentralized database consisting of a continuously growing, neatly organized list of records called blocks. Each block includes a timestamp and a link to the previous block. Blockchain is designed to make data tamper-proof; once recorded, the data in a block is irreversible.
Blockchain technology has the following characteristics:
(1) Decentralization. Due to the use of distributed computing and storage, the system does not have centralized hardware or management agencies. The rights and obligations of any node are equal. The data blocks in the system are jointly maintained by the nodes with maintenance functions in the entire system.
(2) Openness. The system is open. Except for the private information of the transaction parties, which is encrypted, the blockchain data is open to everyone. Anyone can query the blockchain data and develop related applications through the public interface, so the entire system information is highly transparent.
(3) Information cannot be tampered with. Once information is verified and added to the blockchain, it is stored permanently. Therefore, the data stability and reliability of the blockchain are extremely high.
