"Zero" formaldehyde board-Hexiang board

 In the past few days, I'd like to share with you a new environmentally friendly board material commonly used in custom furniture: Hexiang board. Made primarily from crop straw scraps, Hexiang board is coated with MDI glue and functional additives, and processed under high temperature and high pressure. It boasts excellent dimensional stability, high strength, environmental friendliness, flame retardancy, and weather resistance. Let's delve into the specific features of Hexiang board.

The durability, load-bearing and deformation resistance of Hexiang board meet the national particleboard standards and are no less than that of wood-based panels. It also meets the European E0 standard and is currently the most environmentally friendly wood-based panel.

Moisture resistance

The surface of the straw fiber raw material used in Hexiang board has a large amount of natural wax layer, which plays a moisture-proof and waterproof function similar to the paraffin additive in moisture-proof board.

flame retardancy

Straw fiber is rich in silica, a natural fire retardant. Its flammability meets GB8624-B2 standards. Fireproof board products can be used directly in various public spaces without any fireproofing treatment. When exposed to fire, they will only carbonize and not spread.

Sound insulation and sound absorption functions

Hexiang board is a homogeneous porous material with good sound absorption performance.

Environmental protection

Fiberboard and particleboard on the market are made from wood. The reason they're classified as E0 or E1 is primarily due to the adhesive. Unlike traditional wood fiberboard, the adhesive in Hexiang board contains no formaldehyde and is harmless to the human body. Using the desiccant method, its formaldehyde emissions are zero, exceeding both the Japanese F★★★★ standard and the European E0 standard.
