The true meaning of "core"

Our core is made of 30-year-old Northeastern Poplar wood from the Greater Khingan Range. Grown in a cold climate, Northeastern Poplar wood is less susceptible to insects. Its density, light weight, strength, toughness, and nail-holding properties make it a natural and wear-resistant addition to any home.

Compared with ordinary board materials and other base material ecological boards, branded ecological boards are more stable and durable. Compared with ordinary medium-fiber materials, they have the advantages of no deformation, no odor, high environmental protection, no moisture expansion, no delamination and aging.

1. Environmental protection

Among the many demands that homeowners place on board quality, environmental performance is often the most important, and it's also the point of discussion between customers and salespeople. Imagine a model apartment filled with the odor of formaldehyde; customers will surely turn away. Without environmental protection, all talk is meaningless.

Custom furniture is made from a variety of materials, each with its own environmental standards. However, formaldehyde emissions are the most important indicator. The E-grade formaldehyde standard, commonly known as the European standard, originated in Germany. E0, E1, and E2 are academic guidelines for wood-based panels and their formaldehyde emissions. Specifically, E0-grade formaldehyde emissions are ≤0.5mg/L, E1-grade formaldehyde emissions are ≤1.5mg/L, and E2-grade formaldehyde emissions are ≤5mg/L.

According to the latest national standard, which officially came into effect on May 1, 2018, all products currently on the market must meet the new environmental protection requirements-that is, E1 or higher. Therefore, it is recommended that homeowners ask the salesperson to show them a formaldehyde test report when purchasing panels, so that the environmental protection is clearly determined at a glance.

2. Stability

Wood boards contain moisture before processing. Although they are dried before production, they still contain a certain amount of water. Substandard, uneven, or excessively low moisture content is a major factor in causing a range of problems, including board deformation, cracking, bubbling, debonding, and degumming. Maintaining a stable moisture content within a normal range can ensure that quality issues are avoided.

Drying treatment is a very important measure to control the moisture content of wood to a reasonable value. From base material to finished product, each ecological board will go through at least three drying processes and a curing period of more than seven days to keep the moisture content between 8% and 10%. This ensures that the base material is fully dried and not easy to absorb moisture, expand, crack or deform, and increase the hardness and plasticity of the board, thereby ensuring the stability and bonding strength of the product and making it durable.

3. Security

In 2018, Huajie Wood Industry, in collaboration with Professor Wu Yuzhang of the Institute of Wood Industry of the Chinese Academy of Forestry, successfully developed and produced a nationally patented fire-retardant board - fire-safe ecological board. After testing by relevant national departments, the fire protection level has reached the B1C level of the home fire retardant standard, and the environmental protection level can still reach the E0 level. It is a truly safe and eco-friendly safety board.
