Environmental protection has become a hotly debated topic worldwide , especially in the home furnishing industry, as it is closely related to the daily lives of many netizens. As more and more people use environmental protection as an important criterion for measuring the success of home renovations, do you know who is the most powerful home killer?
China Plate Network reminds: Don’t let careless choices and things that are most easily overlooked bring endless hidden dangers.
How serious are the hazards of inferior boards?
The harm of inferior board materials is mainly due to the excessive content of various harmful substances, the most important of which is formaldehyde.
Formaldehyde is not unfamiliar to most consumers, but many people are afraid of it. Formaldehyde is a highly toxic substance and is also known as the number one killer of indoor environments.
Using inferior wood = taking drugs = slow death
According to scientific research, when the concentration of formaldehyde in the air reaches 0.06~0.07mg/m3, it will cause mild asthma to people; when the concentration reaches 0.6mg/m3, it will cause throat discomfort, pain, nausea, vomiting, cough and even pulmonary edema; when the concentration reaches 30mg/m3, it will cause death.
Of course, there are other harmful substances in inferior boards, which are very harmful to the human body, such as benzene, radon, ammonia, etc. These substances make the harm of inferior boards no less than poison.
What kind of board is high-quality board?
There are many types of boards, and the standards for each are different. However, for different types of boards, the standard for them to be qualified or high-quality is that the harmful substance content of the board meets the national standards and the materials used are of high quality.
As consumers, we may not be able to judge these directly, but if the board brand can pass the certification of some authoritative organizations in the country or even the world, then this is an important affirmation of the quality of the board, and it also makes consumers feel at ease about the quality of the board.
Multiple quality certifications are an affirmation of the excellent quality of the panels
Qiannianzhou panels have passed ISO quality system certification, China Environmental Labeling Product certification and other certifications, so you can buy them with confidence!
How to judge the quality of the board?
1. Check whether there are obvious defects on the surface of the board
The surface of decorative boards should be smooth, without burrs and planing marks, no glue seepage and board surface contamination (such as local blackening or yellowing). Try to choose boards with no cracks, cracks, knots, skin, resin sacs and gum channels on the surface. The natural warping of the entire board should be as small as possible to avoid sand-through of the base material due to improper sanding process operation.
2. Recognize the difference between veneer and natural wood veneer
The texture of the former board is basically straight and the texture pattern is regular; the texture pattern of the latter board is natural wood pattern, and the natural variation of the texture pattern is relatively large and irregular.
3. Plate appearance inspection
The appearance of decorative boards should have good aesthetic appeal, the material should be fine and uniform, the color should be clear, the wood grain should be beautiful, the texture of the board matching panels and the parquet should be arranged according to a certain pattern, the wood color should be similar, and the joints should be almost parallel to the board edges.
4. The glue layer structure of the board is stable and there is no debonding phenomenon
Care should be taken to ensure that there is no bulging or delamination between the veneer on the surface of the board and the base material, or between the layers inside the base material.
5. Choose boards with low formaldehyde emission
The more environmentally friendly the board, the less harmful the formaldehyde. According to the GB/T5849-2006 standard for wood panels, the formaldehyde emission level for E0 is ≤0.5 mg/l. According to Japan's F4-star standard, the average formaldehyde emission level is ≤0.3 mg/l, with a maximum of 0.4 mg/l.
