What are we afraid of when purchasing solid wood panels?

To enhance the aesthetics and overall finish of their homes, many people opt for solid wood flooring. Its warmth in winter and coolness in summer, combined with its pleasant feel, makes it an ideal flooring material for bedrooms and study rooms. However, in a market where both genuine and counterfeit wood products coexist, finding genuine, high-quality wood flooring can be challenging.

What are we afraid of when purchasing solid wood panels?

"Fear" of buying fake solid wood

To identify whether it is veneered fake wood, you can look at the clarity of the surface texture. A good painting process makes the surface texture more transparent and can restore the natural texture of the solid wood itself. You can also look at the wood grain texture. If the internal and external textures are consistent, it means it is real wood.

Our own forest farms abroad provide first-hand selected timber to ensure the quality of solid wood raw materials.

“Fear” of deformation and paint peeling

In terms of moisture content treatment, a scientific long-term curing process is carried out at the raw material stage. After curing, the internal stress of the wood is fully released; the dry-bulb temperature and wet-bulb temperature of the board are controlled through the drying kiln process, and the internal moisture content of the wood is deeply controlled to be consistent with the external moisture content, ensuring that the board will not crack, deform, or lose paint in the later stage.

Our solid wood panels are made of German Treffur paint, which is known for its high quality and environmental friendliness. It is also one of the recognized environmentally friendly paint brands, allowing you to use it without any worries.

Fear of termites

Many people are worried about the problem of wood termites in boards. In fact, the termites in solid wood boards are related to the tree species, moisture content, and spatial environment.

Throughout the entire production process, every step is rigorously scrutinized to ensure wood quality. We select high-quality substrates and tree species that are more suitable for the quality requirements of the boards. We also perform long-term curing of the raw materials to control moisture content. High-temperature steaming kills insect eggs, essentially killing 99% of them. Drying and curing destroys the environment in which the eggs survive. Finally, a balanced curing cycle controls the moisture content of the wood to minimize borers.
