A long time ago, eco-board was not called eco-board.

It's called "melamine" board...

Don't panic, things are not what you think!

Let’s make the story behind this short: it’s all Sanlu’s fault!

This professional term was popular all over the country in 2008.

It is so outrageous that "children stop crying when they hear the name".

The Eco-Board had to change its name...

The industry also calls it paint-free board, antibacterial board, and clean board. As the name suggests, it is paint-free and pollution-free, with a high environmental protection level.

Ecological board

Eco-board can be divided into two concepts: narrow and broad. 1. In a broad sense, eco-board is equivalent to melamine veneer. Its full name is melamine impregnated film paper veneer artificial board. It is a decorative board made by soaking paper with different colors or textures in resin adhesive, then drying it to a certain degree of solidification, and laying it on the surface of particleboard, moisture-proof board, medium-density fiberboard, plywood, blockboard or other hard fiberboard, and then hot pressing it. 2. In a narrow sense, eco-board refers only to melamine veneer with the base material used in the middle being spliced solid wood (such as Malacca, fir, paulownia, poplar, etc.). It is mainly used in furniture, cabinets, wardrobes, bathroom cabinets and other fields.

Are you still worried about choosing eco-friendly boards? Xiao Mo will take you to a more comprehensive understanding of eco-friendly boards. Knowing the quality problems that eco-friendly boards are prone to will help you make better choices!

01. The biggest feature of eco-board is of course environmental protection. Moganshan eco-board has a high environmental protection level, reaching the E1 and E0 standards. It no longer has the odor of traditional melamine board and even has the aroma of wood.

Tips: When choosing, feel in a confined space to see if there is any peculiar smell or irritation to the nose and eyes.

02. First of all, look at the thickness and layering of the base material. A good base material has uniform thickness, good layering, no voids or overlapping, and a smooth surface without bulges.

Tip: In a dimly lit area, observe the long side at a 45-degree angle to see if there are any bumps or unevenness. This isn't a hard and fast standard, but it does reflect a manufacturer's craftsmanship.

03. Paper fades. Relatively speaking, ink paper is less likely to fade and has a stronger three-dimensional effect, while pigmented paper is much worse.

Tips: Stack two boards and stagger them. After drying them in the sun for a few hours, check whether there is any color difference on the bottom board.

04. Check whether the decorative paper is firmly attached to the wood and then remove it by dipping it in water.

Tips: Use strong glue to stick on small pieces of paper per square decimeter and pull hard to see if the paper can be pulled off, or use your hands to pick at the cross-section to see if the top paper can be picked off.

05. The degree of board deformation also reflects the manufacturer's process capabilities and the static bending strength of the board. After it is made into a wardrobe or finished product (excluding large-area swing doors), any deformation is a quality issue.

Tip: Visible to the naked eye.

These five tips are simple and practical.

Each customer can operate it by himself.

Let everyone easily distinguish between good and bad,

Of course, look for Moganshan Ecological Board.

You won’t have this kind of trouble!
