After years of development, boards are widely used in decoration and engineering, but it is inevitable to encounter various operational problems during use. The following editor lists several precautions when using boards, hoping to help all decoration users.

Precautions

1. During transportation and storage, single or multiple boards must be protected with pads on the upper and lower sides. They must not be exposed to rain or water. They must be placed flat in a ventilated and dry place to prevent mold, deformation, degumming and cracking of the board surface due to moisture or exposure to the sun.

2. When placed in a warehouse or decoration site, avoid mixing it with materials that release excessive formaldehyde (such as boards and floors that exceed the standard for formaldehyde) to avoid secondary contamination of the boards by free formaldehyde.

3. After opening the package, it should be used promptly. If the use period is too long, the temporarily unused product should be packaged properly, and the bottom and top layers of the board should be placed with complete pads and cover plates to prevent the outermost finished product from being exposed to a humid environment for a long time, resulting in uneven moisture content and causing warping and deformation of the board.

4. The panels are basically non-structural panels and are used in mechanically balanced areas during use to avoid deformation or breakage due to excessive external forces.

5. Before use, inspect the product's specifications, dimensions, moisture content, formaldehyde emission level, and appearance (such as cracking, blistering, bottom shedding, carbonization, and wormholes) to ensure they meet quality requirements. Only process and use the product if no abnormalities are present. Minor gaps within the core board are within the standard and permitted range and do not constitute a quality issue. This product is not suitable for use in moisture-prone areas such as bathrooms and kitchens. The walls being refinished should be dry and moisture-proofed. Do not use wood rebar or substrates with a moisture content exceeding 14%. For bonding the panels, use a quality-assured adhesive. For surface finishing, avoid using water-based paints.
