In the panel industry, highly toxic formaldehyde is a major factor impacting product environmental performance, making the very mention of "formaldehyde" a terrifying prospect. 01. Auxiliary materials: MDI glue without added formaldehyde
The free formaldehyde in wood panels primarily comes from the adhesive. Wood slate panels are manufactured with MDI formaldehyde-free adhesive, replacing the less environmentally friendly synthetic urea-formaldehyde adhesive. MDI formaldehyde-free adhesive, also known as a new medical-grade eco-adhesive, boasts formaldehyde-free properties, strong adhesion, and waterproof and moisture-resistant properties. It is widely used in safety-critical applications such as Lycra fibers, refrigerator liners, and heart bypass surgery.
02. Process: Advanced formaldehyde removal technology
Wood itself contains trace amounts of formaldehyde, and how to remove it is closely related to the drying and hot pressing processes used in board production. Wood Slate utilizes a digital drying process to reduce the moisture content of the base material, constant hot pressing at 190°C, and a fully enclosed high-temperature rapid heat treatment technology to force out free formaldehyde from the board. Multiple advanced formaldehyde removal processes are employed to completely eliminate formaldehyde.
03. Finished product: leading A-grade quality
From a tree to a board, from the logs entering the factory to the finished products leaving the factory, each link of the wood rock board undergoes a strict quality inspection process to systematically guarantee product quality, so that each product can be traced back to quality.
