Practical Tips! Whole House Customization - Panels

2025-09-25

Anyone who has renovated a house knows that choosing the right materials for home decoration is a real hassle. MDF, OSB, eco-friendly boards, blockboard, multi-layer boards, particle boards...

Why are there so many varieties? What are they? What are the differences in their internal structures?

Today, Bunny takes everyone into the whole house customization and learns more about the difference between customized panels~

Super Core Board

Super core panels are constructed by layering poplar or eucalyptus veneers on both sides of a solid wood core using staggered splicing. After sanding to a desired thickness, the surface is then affixed with a high-definition fiberboard (HDF) balancing layer and finished with a decorative layer.

Natural fir wood is moisture-proof, has good nail-holding strength, strong load-bearing capacity, and is not easy to deform. It contains fir plant essential oil (carrageenan), which has a repellent effect on cockroaches and harmful insects and ants, and has health benefits for the human body by eliminating fatigue and relieving stress.

The balancing layer enhances the flatness of the super core board, making it stain-resistant, moisture-resistant, and crack-resistant up to level 5. The solid fir core and HDF balancing layer significantly extend the life of the custom home super core board. Environmental protection grade (ENF) is also achieved.

Shunxin board

Select native Canadian trembling poplars with a growth cycle of 80-120 years and a tree diameter of no less than 50cm.

After being cut into slices, four layers of log slices are laid in a crisscross pattern, with the surface and core layers regularly proportioned, and the three layers laid in a directional pattern.

360-degree nail grip fully guarantees strength, combined with steam spray pre-treatment technology, uniform and stable density. Environmental protection grade ENF level.

Multilayer board

The longest-lasting, odd-numbered 7-11 layers of solid wood plywood are crisscrossed and glued together under high temperature and high pressure. This internal stress ensures the board is resistant to deformation, and its weight and nail-holding strength are over twice that of ordinary particleboard. It meets European E0 environmental standards.

particle board

Particle board is made from wood and processing residue chips, which are evenly cut, hot-pressed, and glued together. Both sides of the board are finished with imported impregnated film paper and specially treated to effectively resist scratches, water, fire, oil stains, and static electricity.

The super core board, which has become very popular this year, builds on the advantages of the base material and adds three elements, chitosan, nano-silicon and nano-silver, to the veneer to achieve the effect of removing formaldehyde and antibacterial.

Formaldehyde Removal: Super Core Board's formaldehyde removal mechanism is chemical, unlike physical adsorption methods like activated carbon and diatom mud. It reacts completely without rebound. Through the Brownian motion of gas molecules, it absorbs formaldehyde from all directions, generating water molecules and oximes without generating any harmful substances.

Antibacterial: Nano-silicon and silver are safe and reliable, and are widely used in medical supplies and infant products. When applied to antibacterial and formaldehyde-removing furniture panels, they are evenly distributed throughout the protective layer and solidify as the panels are formed, maintaining long-lasting antibacterial properties and creating a lasting, healthy furniture environment.
