OSB is the English name of "Oriented Strand Board", also known as European pine board, and its Chinese name is "Oriented Strand Board". It is made of small-diameter timber, thinning timber, and wood core as raw materials. It is processed into chips (generally 40-100mm long, 5-20mm wide, and 0.3-0.7mm thick) through special equipment. It is a directional structural board made through processes such as degreasing, drying, gluing, directional paving, and hot pressing.
The surface flakes are arranged longitudinally, while the core flakes are arranged transversely. This crisscross arrangement restructures the wood's grain structure, eliminating the effects of internal stress on processing, making it exceptionally easy to work with and moisture-resistant. Because OSB has an internal directional structure, it has no joints, gaps, or cracks, resulting in excellent overall uniformity and extremely high internal bond strength. This gives it a nail-holding strength that is unmatched by ordinary boards, both in the center and at the edges.
European particleboard is manufactured with precision in Germany and uses high-grade environmentally friendly adhesives. It complies with the highest European environmental standard EN300. The finished product fully complies with the European E1 standard. Its formaldehyde emission is extremely low, comparable to natural wood, and far lower than other boards. It is one of the highest-grade decorative boards on the market and a truly green and environmentally friendly building material that fully meets people's requirements for environmental protection and healthy living.
Different specifications are used in different locations to achieve the best decoration effect. Usually, 1220*2440*9mm thick OSB boards are used as cabinet back panels; 1220*2440*18mm thick OSB boards are used for drawers and cabinet bodies; cabinet bodies are mostly 48 feet, and cabinet doors are mostly 49 feet.
