What causes plate deformation?

As more and more panels are used in home renovations, the problems that arise are also increasing. Panel deformation is one of the most common problems. So what causes panel deformation? How can this problem be solved? Let's take a look at the production and transportation of panels and you'll find out.

The warping and deformation of the plate means that the plate has poor resistance to deformation. So what causes the poor resistance to deformation?

From a mechanical point of view, the warping and deformation of the board is the result of the release of internal stress. If effective measures are not taken during the production process, the board will not be able to eliminate the basis for the generation of internal stress, which will lead to warping and deformation when it encounters pressure, high humidity and other environments after being made into furniture.

The board is deformed, and the cabinet door cannot be closed.

Specifically, there are generally six major factors that cause plate deformation:

First, the board production process is not well controlled. High-quality boards require consistent paving density and symmetrical structure. If the difference is too large, the internal expansion and contraction of the board will be inconsistent, which will generate internal stress.

Second, the moisture content of the board is not properly controlled. If the moisture content of the board exceeds or falls below the ambient humidity, it is easy to cause warping and deformation. Therefore, the moisture content must be maintained within the normal range.

Third, the density of the board is not up to standard. Low density of the board will cause the processed surface to be rough and easy to absorb moisture and deform;

Fourth, the waterproofness of the board is unqualified. The board used to make furniture must have a certain waterproof performance, otherwise it will easily absorb moisture and deform;

Fifth, the board maintenance is not up to standard. If the board does not have a maintenance process and is not stored in a dry and ventilated environment, it will easily affect the stability of the board and cause deformation and other problems.

How to make Happy Bear board?

01. Select high-density wood species

The boards are made using the 5A grade material selection method, where density is one of the important indicators. Logs with high density, good stability and golden age are selected as the raw materials for the boards, laying a solid foundation for the quality of the boards.

02. Upgrade production technology and equipment

The board production equipment and technical processes are continuously upgraded, and the operating data of each process is precisely controlled to produce boards with symmetrical structure and consistent density, thus minimizing the internal stress of the boards.

03. Strictly control the moisture content of the board

The logs are dried at a constant temperature for up to 10 days to release the wood's swelling, shrinkage and deformation before production. Moisture content testing is carried out throughout the entire production process to ensure that the moisture content of the boards is evenly controlled within the acceptable range.

04. Strengthen plate maintenance

The panels go through multiple curing stages during transportation and production. The panels are stacked flat in a dry and ventilated environment and cured for several days to allow them to fully adapt to the environment and achieve more stable performance.

All problems from source to production to transportation are solved one by one, and the board's ability to resist deformation is guaranteed.
