Today's Home Focus: Stability and Durability
During the rainy season, the weather is humid and hot, and wooden furniture is easily affected by moisture and deformed. In the northern regions with little rain and high temperatures, furniture is also prone to cracking due to the moisture content of the boards and unstable structure.
Deformation and cracking of board materials will inevitably affect the performance and lifespan of furniture. Besides natural environmental factors, what other hidden dangers can be curbed at the product manufacturing end?
[Note] The adverse effects of unstable performance
Unstable base materials and structures can affect the nail holding strength of cabinet joints. If the panels lack resistance to deformation and cracking, even the best furniture and home styles won't last, much less the quality of home living. So what are the reasons?
1. The moisture content of the substrate is unreasonable
If the substrate's moisture content is unstable or not properly maintained, it will be unable to adapt to changes in dry and wet environments. Furniture will also be prone to cracking and deformation when exposed to pressure and uneven humidity. If the moisture content of the board exceeds or falls below the ambient humidity, warping and deformation are inevitable.
2. Unstable physical structure
During the production of finished boards, logs are processed into strips, shavings, and fines to break down the wood's internal structural forces. However, if the physical structure and density of the substrate are not properly treated, the internal stresses in the board cannot be eliminated, and the board is easily deformed by thermal expansion and contraction.
3. Unqualified production process
If the drying, curing, gluing, hot and cold pressing, and sanding processes are not strictly controlled or do not meet the standards, the board will easily crack and deform. If there are problems such as poor waterproofing, carbonization of the surface, and cracking of the processing edges, it will directly affect the cost of renovation and increase the time and money.

[Substrate stability]
Selected raw materials (including imported) with uniform wood quality
The boards are selected using the 5A material selection method, with on-site surveys conducted from multiple dimensions such as forest coverage, relative humidity, climate rainfall, and health index. The wood is tested hundreds of times, and logs with excellent material properties are selected to reduce the variable coefficient of the boards from the source.
Our core material, imported from Southeast Asia, is grade-A Malacca, ensuring uniform wood quality. Kiln-dried for 10 days, our logs are highly sought after by consumers in both northern and southern China. Our eco-friendly fir wood panels, carefully selected for their 15-year maturity, offer natural quality and have proven themselves in the market for 20 years, remaining a popular and best-selling product.
[Stable moisture content]
Scientific health care 6-8% gold water content
Within the qualified range specified by the standard, the smaller the water absorption thickness expansion rate, the stronger the board stability. The boards are made of logs with higher density and are naturally cured for about 15 days before and after production to achieve a balanced and stable moisture content.
No. 1 logs are made of subtropical evergreen trees with uniform wood structure. The moisture content of the product reaches the golden moisture content of 6%, and it is known as "safe wood". The nail holding strength of the product is several times higher than the national standard, and the 24-hour water absorption expansion rate is only 4.2%.
[Structural stability]
Multi-layer combination eliminates internal stress in wood
Innovatively develop mainstream new wood structures, effectively eliminate the structural stress in the wood through multi-layer structures, flaking structures, core layer + core board structures, etc., to create high-end environmentally friendly boards with super stable performance.
For example, A7 furniture boards have 5-11 layers, with each layer reinforcing the product's performance. Our high-tech new product, No. 1 wood board, uses five layers of peeled wood, laminated in a crisscross pattern, for a smooth, reinforced surface and uniform density throughout.
[Process stability]
Glue roller coating, uniform hot and cold pressing
The board is made of soybean bio-glue and water-insoluble MDI adhesive with high solid content, strong bonding, waterproof and environmental protection performance. After 8 production processes, the glue is evenly coated with a roller to prevent moisture from entering, eliminating the risk of cracking in a humid environment.
Upgraded cold and hot pressing equipment for panels allows for intelligent and precise control of hot pressing temperature and time parameters. Three hot pressing steps are performed, maintaining a constant temperature of 130°C for uniform hot pressing, significantly reducing the risk of panel deformation and cracking.

When selecting panels to customize the doors, walls, and cabinet systems for the entire house, in addition to the requirement for "stability", the "environmental protection level" of the panels will inevitably become a key factor affecting the quality of life. We will continue to explain this to you in the next issue.
