Oriented strand board (OSB), commonly known as European pine board, is a widely used alternative to plywood in Europe and the United States, becoming the mainstream man-made board. OSB is primarily used in building structures, particularly timber and steel-wood structures, which account for over 90% of its applications. It is not only suitable for large-scale modern construction and decoration, but is also widely used in private homes and villas.
Compared with traditional blockboard and plywood made of urea-formaldehyde glue, OSB board production uses formaldehyde-free isocyanate glue as adhesive. Not only is there no formaldehyde in the glue, but the continuous ultra-high temperature hot pressing process releases the trace formaldehyde contained in natural wood, allowing the board to reach the formaldehyde-free level, ensuring that the board is truly green and healthy. It can be said that it has the ultimate pursuit of environmental protection.

OSB boards are made from native Canadian trembling aspen trees that are certified by FSC, CSA, SFI, and PEFC. Canadian trembling aspen thrives in harsh environments, growing slowly and producing durable wood that matures after 30 years. We select A+ grade mature wood from trees aged 70 to 120 years and with a diameter exceeding 35 cm to ensure the high performance of the OSB base material.

Based on conventional OSB, a new generation of environmentally friendly, man-made board suitable for interior decoration was jointly developed by Tubaobao, West Fraser (Canada), and the Alberta Institute of Technology and Innovation (AITF) in Canada. This collaboration, developed in response to Chinese market demands, represents the highest level of international forest products industry expertise and provides key intellectual property rights.
No added formaldehyde, more environmentally friendly and safer
During the production of OSB boards, highly active MDI formaldehyde-free glue is used. While ensuring absolute environmental protection, it has extremely high bonding strength, excellent water resistance, moisture resistance and weather resistance.
Strict process five all-round
OSB boards are made from high-quality Canadian trembling poplars, combined with steam spray pretreatment technology and West Fraser directional control technology. They are refined through 25 rigorous processes including steaming, flaking, screening, directional paving, and continuous flat pressing. The boards have no gaps or voids throughout and are airtight and uniform, making OSB boards environmentally friendly, stable, nail-holding, load-bearing, and moisture-resistant.
