Rooting Down, Growing Up

The four years of colorful campus life in college have become precious memories. What is clearly visible now is the enthusiasm for working on the front line and the beautiful vision of future work and life.

Heart Journey

When I first started working, I felt a sense of freshness. I still remember that the press was installing the bottom beam and there was a shortage of manpower. After completing various preliminary safety education and skills training, we immediately threw ourselves into the work. Mixing cement and grouting seemed simple and interesting work, but after we poured 10 buckets, our arms gradually lost strength and we couldn't even lift the cement buckets. In the sweltering July, sweat kept pouring down my face, my work clothes were already soaked, my feet were white from being soaked in heavy protective shoes, my arms were sore, and my feet were weak. Since I rarely do heavy work and lack daily strength training, my body couldn't take it.

But to ensure construction quality and schedule, we couldn't stop. I told myself, "If I can't persevere even on simple tasks, what else can I do?" Just then, a colleague said, "Everyone, hold on a little longer. Victory is just around the corner. Let's fight this first battle!" "Yes, perseverance is victory!" "Keep going, keep going!" Everyone rolled up their sleeves, divided into pairs, and encouraged each other, shouting "Come on, come on!" They carried the cement buckets, one trip at a time, pouring the last of the grout. When we were done, we collapsed on the ground, our backs drenched in sweat, but everyone's face was beaming with a smile of triumph. Yes, we persevered, we completed the task, and more importantly, we triumphed over ourselves. At the same time, we deeply realized the power of teamwork: with concerted efforts and unity, no difficulty is insurmountable.

//Pay attention to details to ensure safety///Strive

Fast forward to December, and the first particleboard board rolled off the production line, marking a crucial time for the equipment to begin its intensive commissioning phase. The electrical engineer's job within the company is to ensure smooth production, and only with exceptional skills and a strong sense of responsibility can the equipment operate smoothly.

At three in the morning, in the low-heat room, the grinder's circuit breaker burned out, the transformer tripped, and the alarm blared. Workshop management rushed to the scene. There was still excess material inside the drying drum. If it wasn't removed quickly, it would cause a fire. Our first priority was to quickly start the generator and remove the excess material from the drying drum. Faced with a tight deadline and a heavy workload, all the electrical staff worked together to quickly start the generator, remove the excess material, and avert the fire. After analyzing the incident, we discovered that loose bolts in the circuit breaker had caused poor contact. Equipment installation engineer Zhang Ting told me, "Electrical work requires meticulousness. There's no room for sloppiness, otherwise it can lead to a major accident." I nodded repeatedly. Even a small bolt can cause a major accident if not properly inspected. "A thousand-mile dam can be breached by a single ant hole." From then on, the sense of responsibility for every little detail in electrical work took root in me.

//Strengthen learning and improve abilities///Glory

After the loose bolt incident, I deeply realized the importance of electrical safety to maintaining the safety of the entire factory workshop. At the same time, I also realized the shortcomings of my own theoretical knowledge and work experience.

To this end, I made full use of my fragmented time to study electrical automation theory, developing the habit of taking notes and regularly reviewing and summarizing my work. I also used the workshop as a practical platform for rapid growth, identifying the root causes of common equipment failures and applying the knowledge I gained to production maintenance. I also seized the precious opportunity of watching equipment manufacturers' technicians debug equipment at our company, humbly seeking their advice and learning how to quickly identify and effectively troubleshoot problems. I would like to express my special thanks to my leaders and colleagues for their guidance and support, which has helped me grow rapidly.

I will do my best to contribute to the construction and development of Tiantan Wood Industry! I will interpret the spirit of dedication to my job with practical actions, stick to my original intention in ordinary positions, and create an extraordinary life!
