Oriented strand board, commonly known as OSB (European Pine Board) in China, is a popular alternative to plywood in Europe and the United States, becoming the mainstream man-made board material. OSB is primarily suitable for large-scale modern construction and decoration, and is widely used in private homes and villas.

OSB (European Pine Board) is made from high-quality Canadian poplar wood, combined with spray steam pretreatment technology and West Fraser directional control technology. It is refined through 25 rigorous processes including steaming, planing, screening, directional paving, and continuous flat pressing, making OSB environmentally friendly, stable, nail-holding, load-bearing, and moisture-resistant.

1. Stable performance

OSB adopts a multi-layer vertical and horizontal directional structure. It is laid out in four layers and three layers are directional and arranged vertically and horizontally. The internal structure is neat and the solid wood chips are restrained from each other. It has better stability, load-bearing capacity and nail holding strength, and is not easy to deform in wet/dry environments.

2. Environmental protection

OSB uses formaldehyde-free, highly active MDI glue throughout the production process. It has strong bonding, excellent weather resistance, and is more environmentally friendly. It can meet the highest national ENF environmental protection standards, eliminating the generation of formaldehyde from the source, achieving true formaldehyde-free addition, and creating a healthier and safer home environment for consumers.

3. Non-standard customization

OSB can be customized to non-standard specifications. Available lengths can reach 7 meters and thicknesses up to 25mm, while maintaining superior deformation resistance and load-bearing properties. It plays a significant role in the interior decoration of large spaces such as villas, hotels, and public works.
