In the post-pandemic era, people are thinking more deeply about their lives. Being healthy and environmentally friendly has become a basic need in people's lives, which is accelerating the rapid upgrade of environmental protection in the home furnishing industry. This also means that higher-quality, healthier panels that meet more stringent environmental standards are entering thousands of households.
In order to choose healthy and environmentally friendly boards, we must first be familiar with their different environmental protection levels. According to the issuance of the new national standard, they are divided into E1, E0, and ENF levels. These environmental protection level standards are customized for the formaldehyde emission that we hate.
E1, E0, ENF environmental protection standards
E1 is a mandatory national standard for the wood-based panel and its products industry, stipulating formaldehyde emissions of ≤0.124mg/m³. This can also be understood as a mandatory national "safety standard line," meaning panels meeting this limit are safe for use.
The E0 level is directly aligned with the CARB-NAF (California Air Quality Board - No Formaldehyde Added) standard. When the formaldehyde emission is ≤0.050mg/m³, it meets the E0 level standard.
The ENF grade is half the formaldehyde limit of the NAF grade and can be said to be the most stringent formaldehyde standard currently available, requiring formaldehyde emission to be ≤0.025mg/m³.

As the saying goes, "no formaldehyde, no glue." Glue is essential for bonding wood-based panels. Adhesives combine different wood types into composite materials, leveraging the unique properties of each wood. They also ensure wettability, balance the pH of the board, and enhance its durability.
Adhesives are divided into traditional "trialdehyde resins" and newer formaldehyde-free adhesives. Traditional adhesives, represented by "trialdehyde resins" such as urea-formaldehyde resins, phenol-formaldehyde resins, and melamine-formaldehyde resins, are the main culprits of excessive formaldehyde levels. They will continuously release formaldehyde for decades, seriously polluting the air and endangering human health.
A new formaldehyde-free adhesive, also known as MDI formaldehyde-free eco-adhesive, is a safe, stable, and high-strength polymer that contains no formaldehyde. It is commonly used in light industry, transportation, and even in the medical field, where safety is paramount. Boards made with this adhesive are formaldehyde-free.
Why not zero formaldehyde?
Why not zero formaldehyde?
Because formaldehyde is widely present in nature, including in trees themselves, the apples we eat contain formaldehyde, but this amount will not affect our health at all.
Dinger, creating high-quality panels
As a company that has been focusing on the panel industry for over a decade, we have always adhered to the innovation and environmental protection of environmentally friendly panels. In addition to using environmentally friendly adhesives, the base material is also made of solid wood core material to ensure the overall environmental protection of the product.
During the production and processing process, it goes through 40 steps, including layer-by-layer screening, layer-by-layer inspection, layer-by-layer control, and precise calculation to strictly control the ratio of moisture to adhesive, so that the bonding strength and water resistance of the board can reach the maximum value.
In the past, present and future, Dinger has been committed to creating environmentally friendly panels that meet the diverse needs of consumers and bring a healthier living environment to tens of millions of families.
